Windjammer

We had a fabulous time at the Windjammer. Its location is superb, and the house is perfect for a large family.

We certainly enjoyed our stay in Windjammer. The house is comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The deck is large with a great view of the gulf. The location is wonderful. Cross the street and follow the short path to the beach. Suncoast is professional and very easy to deal with. We are already looking forward to a return visit at Windjammer.

The property could use some updates and the floor in the kitchen in front of the refrigerator needs some structural attention. Some written directions how to use the TV in the living area would be helpful for those who do not have cable tv. The cottage sleeps 8 but even parking 4 cars is a stretch. There is plenty of land just needs clearing.

very nice accommodations, beautiful deck to enjoy the sun, awesome outdoor shower with hot and cold water, interior provided plenty of space to relax, great couch for naps, frig with ice maker, air conditioner that works perfectly. Lower level beneath the deck to hang clothes and get out of the rain including a swing and fish cleaning station, nice little laundry room with large table to fold clothes. Short walk ( 200 feet) across the dunes to the beach. Really enjoyed the place.

We enjoyed the Windjammer. It had everything we needed and is right across from the beach. We all enjoyed our stay.

You can’t beat the price ,location, and beach access. A+++. Could use some new couches. Beds were comfy and Air conditioner was very cold. Every bedroom had a ceiling fan. The house is laid out very well and we had plenty of room to hangout together. The major complaint I had was the front door was very hard to shut and stay shut and we had a toddler staying with us so that caused panic at times. The dishwasher heating element needs repaired. Bring extra towels you are given 1 bath , 1 wash rag, and 1 hand towel per person . There were plenty of cooking ware and dishes. We really enjoyed the deck at night looking at the stars it was fabulous.

This is a wonderful property. We've stayed in it for 4 summers now and plan to come back. Suncoast is always easy to work with.

Had a great trip. We did report the ceiling fans in the 2 bedrooms to the right of the kitchen did not work and we had a visit from one BIG, now dead, roach. Don't know if we can rent again if more than 4 of us show up since there is just enough room to park 4 cars. Big yard could be cleared to accommodate more.

Enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space and nice views. Needs some updating.

Windjammer is a fun and quirky kind of place that makes you smile when you look around! In fact, it was the unique kitchen cabinets that made this one ours for a week. The swing below the house is a great spot to enjoy the breeze, the outdoor shower has hot and cold water (YES!). There are a couple of things that should be addressed, but it's a great price for the location and all it has to offer.

The floor plan and locatiobln was perfect for us. Would like the same house next time. I left my big pot there though...

Perfect size for my family now that I have adult children. Our only complaint for a place that sleeps at least 8 is that there is not enough parking out front for a boat and 4 vehicles.

Our family has been going to St. George Island for years and we always rent through Suncoast Vacation Rentals. Our house was very clean and in great condition. We will be back and will try to stay in the same house.

Windjammer was a wonderful, cozy beach house, very clean and nicely decorated and also very well appointed in the kitchen. Beautiful view of the beach just a few steps away. This would be a great house for a family getaway.

We were very please with this house. We have been renting different homes through Suncoast for 5 years now and just love them. This house fit all of our needs and was very clean.

I have stayed at this house for at least 15 times over the last 20 years. Best thing is location direct easy across the street access to the beach. The underneath area of house is concrete with seating, outdoor shower, laundry room, grill and nice fish cleaning sink. Laticed in all around it. House has large living area and dining table. Well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms and bath not fancy but clean.
We caught trout, Spanish mackerel, pompano, blue fish, croaker and some trash fish hard head catfish our 4 night stay. Good house for the money.

If the weather had only cooperated and been a bit warmer with less wind and rain our week would have been perfect. Enjoyed this place so much and coming back for another stay, this time with my family, in September.

Excellent!!! House just need pots and pans in the kitchen.

Windjammer was a pleasant surprise! The decorations were so much fun, it was almost like staying in a beachy art gallery. The location is great; right across from the beach with direct access. It's also convenient to the downtown bars and restaurants, though we didn't use that feature in this Covid year. The pictures don't do this house justice. The kitchen was fine, though a large pot would have been nice.

Suncoast Vacation Rentals is the best! We've been going to St. George Island for years and always rent through Suncoast. Jan and her crew are the best. Our house had a great view of the ocean and very easy access. Can't wait to go back!
