Walter Armistead, Broker/Owner
Since 1978 Walter has made sure that Suncoast was a name to be proud of. Walter, along with his business partner Larry Hale, started the small company based on family values and community pride. Since then Walter has and will always make Suncoast a family business, making sure that family felling extends to our clients.Walter has three daughters and four grandchildren. He lives on St. George Island and has served as the Deacon of the St. George Island Baptist Church for 18 years.

Larry Hale, Broker/Owner
Along with business partner Walter Armistead, Larry has been successfully running Suncoast since 1978. Larry overlooks and assists the everyday operation of Suncoast. You can often see him putting up signs or helping with the houses. Larry has been the local Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America Troop 22 for over 30 years. Larry lives on St. George Island and has one daughter and one son.

Sam Gilbert, General Manager/Realtor
Sam has been with the company since 1995. Sam oversees the day-to-day management of our vacation rental, accounting, housekeeping and real estate sales departments. In his free time, Sam enjoys traveling, camping, mountain biking and boating. Sam is married and lives in his hometown, Apalachicola.

Billie Grey, Rental Manager
Billie has been with Suncoast since 1979 working in the reservation department. It is safe to say that Billie knows a thing or two about our rental market and all of our rental homes. Billie lives in Carrabelle and was born and raised in Franklin County.

Jan Grey, Reservation Agent
Jan is Billie's daughter, who moved back to her hometown of Carrabelle in 1999 from Washington State. Jan is the friendly voice on the phone making sure your home gets rented and that each and every renter is satisfied with their stay. Jan has been with the company since 1999. 

Peggy Hamm, Head of Housekeeping 
With 20 years experience with Suncoast, she is a favored cleaner among homeowners. In addition to cleaning homes, Peggy oversees all of the housekeeping among all Suncoast rental homes.

Phillip Spratt, Maintenance 
Phillip is extremely dependable and can fix almost anything. Phillip resides here on St. George Island, which makes it very convenient to fix almost anything at a moment's notice. Phillip is married and has many animals, including a pet raccoon! 

 

Ron Bloodworth, Broker/Associate
Ron Bloodworth has been selling real estate on St. George Island since 1977, so it is safe to say that he really knows the area! In the past three years, Ron has won many awards for real estate including the Top Producer Award for our county and the Top Selling Agent for Coldwell Banker in 2002 for all of Florida! Ron is knowledgeable about every inch of the county, he and Ben can find you whatever you may be looking for, whether it be a luxurious beachfront home or a cozy fishing cottage, just give them a call!

BJ Neshat, Broker/Associate
BJ has worked with Suncoast for over 10 years selling real estate on St. George Island and the surrounding areas. BJ worked in North Carolina in the real estate business for many years and won many awards for sales in the area. BJ spends his spare time flying and working on his airplanes, call him anytime for information on real estate or area aviation information.

Tommy Luster, Broker/Associate
Tommy moved to Apalachicola in 1963. After finishing school, he married a local girl (Charlyn Dean) and went to work at the paper mill in Port St. Joe, where he worked his way up from Millwright Helper to Assistant Maintenance Superintendent, before he left in 1998. At this time, Tommy joined forces with, probably the largest real estate firm in the area, to learn his new trade. While there Tommy worked in the company's several offices located in Carrabelle, Eastpoint, St. George Island, Apalachicola, Cape San Blas and St. Joe Beach, all in an effort to learn everything he could about our diverse area. At the same time, he continued his formal education in real estate and obtained a broker's license in 2001. Ben Bloodworth, Realtor/Associate
Ben was born and raised on St. George Island. After graduating FSU in 2000, Ben took a job in Atlanta for two years working in computer programming. While there, Ben visited his hometown often and decided to move back. After obtaining his real estate license in 2002, Ben jumped headfirst into real estate with his father, Ron.
