House is just steps away, easy to move around in house, love the house being single level. Young kids can get in and out easy and covered porch worked well for kids and adults needing a break for sun.

Our three week stay at Westwind was perfect. Have stayed here a few times before and it is our favorite house. Just wish it was pet friendly. Sam, Emily, & Jan at Suncoast are the best - treat us like family.

Westwind is a spacious one story right on the beach. It has fantastic views of the gulf from inside and out. We love the patio which is partially covered. We have stayed in Westwind for many years and it has always been clean and well maintained.

We have visited St. George more than 50 times over 30 years and feel like West Wind is our second home. It's not a fancy place, but it fits our needs beautifully.

Words cannot describe the beautiful experience we had at the Westwind property / Suncoast Rentals . Again, we were treated like special snowbirds .
We will be back again in 2024 ! Thank you Suncoast

This is a classic older home with plenty of room and easy 2 step beach access. It has been maintained well although the mattresses need to be replaced. The kitchen is well-stocked and please note that the left front burner on the stove has one setting = scorch. Great if you want to boil water. The management company was great to work with and just a lovely group of people.

We instantly fell in LOVE with this house! 3 weeks prior to our arrival on the island, we were informed that our original rental was no longer available. I was very nervous about the change of houses, but Suncoast set us up with a wonderful replacement! The home was perfect for my mother as it didn't have any stairs for her to climb. The house had everything we needed to cook with which was very convenient. The kids enjoyed having their own living room area to watch TV on rainy days. I enjoyed the covered porch on those days. It was mere steps to the water making it easy for my mom and my grandkids. The beds were all comfortable, which is a big thing for us! We are planning our trip for next year, and this house is most definitely on our list!

This was our first time to stay in Westwind and it was a great experience. We loved it being only one level and right on the beach. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. We are looking forward to booking again for our next family vacation.

There are two living areas in the house... one for the kids with a TV and one for adults to watch their shows! The only complaint is that they need a new stove... some burners worked and some did not... but we worked around it:) We just love the island... so we let nothing spoil our week!

This is our second trip to Westwind. The atmosphere at Westwind is like no other. We love the clean rooms and the one level with no stairs. We recommend it highly.

We have been renting Westwind for years...we love it. It’s right on the beach and has a wonderful patio area....half of it covered and half with sun. So it’s easy to sit on the patio and enjoy the water views if we don’t feel like going out on the beach. It’s also all one level with a great enclosed breezeway....great views of the ocean in all rooms of the living area.
It also has always been very clean and has been well maintained in the past. I know it has new owners as of this year so I hope it stays in great condition.

Excellent experience. Very helpful and friendly staff. Facility was “spotless,” very comfortable with all amenities provided. DVD player didn’t function and I reported it late that afternoon. The staff brought a new one the early the next day and installed it.

We have stayed in this house for many years now. We walk in the door & it feels like we're home.

Walk out your back door and you’re on the beach! One level, fully equipped spacious beach house is so very comfortable. We have been coming to SGI since 2004 and this our favorite place to stay.

My husband and I had a great time in West Wind. It has no steps to climb and it was so clean inside.

We have stayed at Westwind several times before, and plan to continue to do so. However, this time, one of the big picture windows was cloudy, spoiling the wonderful view we have previously enjoyed. Also, we had maintenance issues with the wifi that could have been handled better. Suncoast does not have anyone to help with wifi equipment (beyond telling guest to try resetting modem/router), and so we waited 4 days for internet provider company to come, only to find it was a wire incorrectly plugged into phone rather than internet outlet. Other rental companies have in-house maintenance people that can handle something very simple like this, and we think Suncoast should, also.

My favorite place to stay on SGI is West Wind. Walk off the covered porch onto the beach. No stairs to climb ,and extremely comfortable beds are two other pluses for this property!

This is beach heaven. We were thrilled with the layout and closeness to the beach. Very comfortable and was fully stocked. Wished we had a standing reservation each year because it's perfect for families.
