Sea Crest

We enjoyed the quiet and relaxing seven days with no work in sight. Everything at the beach house was fine, and the swimming pool an extra attraction. We like the walkway and gazebo--as well as the friendly cat!

It's always great to return to the island and the low key atmosphere. We have stayed multiple times in Sea Crest, lured back each time by its simple amenities, especially the beachside gazebo, the shaded game area under the house, & of course the pool. It's gotten competitive to get a reservation, but we did get 2 weeks at the end of summer. My wife inadvertently left some personal things in a bedroom drawer. To her delight & my surprise, management mailed the items to us. Many thanks to all the staff members involved!!!

We loved SeaCrest! It was perfect for 3 couples and we felt like we had plenty of room. The bedrooms were large and beds were comfy. The king bedroom has a master bath and the two other bedrooms share a bathroom. The half bath is down stairs which is great when you are at the pool or beach. The kitchen was well stocked for 6 people. The deck and boardwalk provided seating for a beautiful sunrise each morning and made it easy to get to the beach. The pool was clean and bigger than I thought. We loved hanging out under the house. The only thing to know is the public beach access is next to the house so we had to put out our Canopy and chairs early so beach goers didn’t set up in front of our house. The beach cat Tabby was so sweet. He greeted us in the morning and walked the beach with us at night! We would recommend this home!

This was our first time renting from Suncoast and it was great. We had a wonderful stay at Sea Crest. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed (we did bring our own Keurig machine). The pool area had lots of seating options. My favorite place was the gazebo at the end of the boardwalk. The owners are fantastic people (we met them when they came to replace the battery in the smoke alarm, and we had a lovely conversation). We can't wait to visit again.

Everything was great for our week at St. George Island. We appreciated the upgrades to the place. It's a fine oasis with the surrounding vegetation and the walkway and gazebo.

No extra amenities like most rentals so bring pool toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. For the home, dish soap, garbage bags, paper products, etc. We just ran to Piggly Wiggly on the island and stocked up! We loved Jan (the woman who works in the office on the weekends). The office staff is very helpful. One person offered to bring her crockpot from home for us to borrow! Amazing customer service. We booked for next year!

The location is just perfect. The house is spotless. The pool is a very good size and shape. Gazebo is now on our must have list.

Third time at this property. Love the beach location and pool. Nice upgrades to property this year as well, new flooring/furniture/rugs/lamps in great room, new paint inside and out and new poolside lounges were a welcome sight. We love the gazebo, common space near pool and numerous furniture for relaxing by the pool.. This property offers so many options to enjoy a beach stay and we have already booked for summer of 2024.

Suncoast does it again! We have been renting from Suncoast for 30 years - they care about the customers and treat us like family. The house was beautiful - clean and spacious enough for us. We loved being on the beach and having a pool. Looking forward to our next stay

We've always enjoyed our stay at Seacrest for the past 3 summers. This year we found numerous upgrades that made our visit even more special including new paint inside and out, new flooring in main living space, upgraded pool furniture and new living room furniture. Thanks to the owners for going g above and beyond to improve the look and our experience this year. We are already booked for next year!Suncoast Property rental also made our experience pleasurable and I want to that their staff as well.

My prior reviews already reveal the many benefits of this oceanfront rental, including private pool, shaded gathering area great for board games, and a rare beachside gazebo. This visit we were pleased to find significant improvements to both the interior and exterior with fresh paint, a welcoming upgrade to the entrance/stairwell, attractive new flooring & new furniture in the living room, and abundant new pool side furniture. We'll be returning for another 2 weeks in the fall.

Great rental. Clean, beach accessible, glassed in porch off main bedroom was a great addition!

Great location, quiet area, very clean, nice pool, loved the gazebo, comfortable beds, nice car port, nice indoor furniture, bath rooms a bit outdated tub showers only, some outdoor furniture could be upgraded with new cushions...many are worn. Property mgmt company was great to deal with. Would definitely rent again.

Our second stay at Seacrest and it was wonderful both times. While being an older home and decor, it's still a great place to stay. We enjoyed the pool each day as well as the under house sitting area. Kitty cat is enjoyable and enjoyed time with us while outside. Our favorite amenity is the "hut" on the boardwalk out to the beach. We enjoyed morning sunrises there as well as late afternoon coctails. We will be back.

We have rented Seacrest for the past 10 years- our Grandson has grown up loving his family vacations with our small family in this cozy rental .

We rented the house for 2 weeks in 2021 & 2022, so we understood it is an older home in need of some repairs. That said, the amenities of a beach side gazebo, a pool, a shaded gathering area next to the pool (great for board games, etc), & a comfortable living room & dining area all outweigh the houses's age. I met the owner...she's super nice. Hopefully she'll see fit to make the repairs before we return in 2023.

Seacrest is our favorite house on SGI. We love the view from the house, & the gazebo is awesome (best place for morning coffee & sunrise). The pool is great and lots of lounging area underneath the house. We have stayed at this house several times and return every chance we get.

We have stayed at Sea Crest the past 9 years and it is a wonderful fit for our small family. My 10 year old Grandson loves the pool and the "Zeebo". The beach house cat is always a welcome site and we enjoy her company every day. Look forward to our week every year.

We rented the home for a week. The accomodations, amenities and layout was perfect for our family. The ocean view was breath taking. There was ample space underneath the home and the pool area to be out even if had rained. The pool and the pool area itself offered a welcome transition from the beach. The walkway leading to the beach had a gazebo with seating space for reflection and watching the sunrise.The outdoor shower with hot and cold water was great for rinsing before entering the pool. The mattresses were comfortable and bathrooms certainly had ample space as well. Overall I would recommend this property to anyone.

The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, silverware, utensils, & appliances - everything is in working order. There are multiple sitting areas inside and outside. The beachside gazebo is a major plus, but the shaded under-the-house patio adjacent to the pool provides a great place for relaxing, playin cards or board games. & of course there's the pool, another plus. We loved it despite a significant minus: the rear deck and gazebo a are patchwork of repairs, rust, and more needed repairs - sort of 3rd world. Yes, we would rent again, but much needed repairs would great enhance everyone's enjoyment. PS, the peeling wallpaper in the stairwell has got to go.

Wonderful as always. Best house I have ever rented. Pool, gazebo, view, is all perfect. Always enjoy a trip to Appalachicola. Love the new shops! Had the best lunch at The Station Raw Bar. Food was delicious! Service was excellent. Would suggest update to bathrooms. Might want to think about replacing toilets, they are very low. Appreciate the grab bars added to showers. I bring my elderly mother with me. It would be so helpful. Other than that, Love it as always! Hopefully we will see you next year!

My parents and my husband and I had the best relaxing vacation ever at this lovely home. I recommend this home for anyone who wants to just relax and enjoy a true vacation.

Pleasant mid-October temperatures in the low '80's great for beach walks as well as swimming in the pool. The boardwalk and its gazebo give this property an advantage over others in the area. Very cute place--which comes with its own friendly cat!

We have rented this home from Suncoast for the past 8 years - my grandson has grown up loving SGI as much as we do. Our yearly trip in August has turned into a family tradition that everyone looks forward to. We have even included my Dad we turns 97 this year and is no longer able to travel from Ohio, but he always wants to see all of the photos and hear all about our adventure !

We had a wonderful time at SeaCrest. The pool and house were in great shape. We loved every minute. Public beach access is going to be a problem though in the future. Growing very rapidly. I think we will look on the far east end where public access is not allowed.
